Malaysia Flying 2006 & 2008

My friend Fergus was learning to fly. Here's some photos of us flying near Singapore. Also, some pictures of me flying on my company's plane, collecting data in southern Malaysia in 2008.

Nearly there... (I missed the landing!) Another flight in Malaysia: this time on my company's plane on Christmas Night 2008. Most of the flight was in the dark... these are the pix after the sun came up. We were flying over southern Malaysia, near Singapore. We were collecting the 3D data that I work with every day. I got to sit up in the first officer's seat. In the back was the radar operator. You can see the top of his head on the right. It was a great night for flying. Very little turbulence, which is important for data collection. Circuit breakers. Good to see that we were equipped with a cigar lighter somewhere. Coming into land at Subbing, Kuala Lumpur's old international airport.
