Japan 2008

Working with colleagues from Japan, I've had the chance to visit Tokyo and Okinawa.

Most of Okinawa looks like this. My hotel. Looks narrow, doesn't it? Okinawa has a monorail. It's just like living slightly in the future! Went to Okinawa and Tokyo on business twice in 2008. Monster-size Hello Kitty. Shopping arcade in Okinawa. This was my hotel room. Slightly smaller than two double beds. The obligatory Japanese electric toilet picture. Our partner company Pasco's ultra-secret downlink antenna, somewhere in Japan. Me looking presentable, for a change. Also pictured, Stephen a colleague of mine, also looking presentable. More Okinawa concrete. Amazing Japanese technology from the Narita Airport lounge: Beer that pours itself. Vertical parking in Tokyo. Vending machines replace all shops in Tokyo, due to high land prices. Speaking of concrete, this is Tokyo. Endless, endless Tokyo.
