data production system for the TanDEM-X World DEM, which are producing
150 million square kilometers of high-resolution elevation data
• Hired and trained over 350 staff in radar image interpretation
and DEM editing

• Managed the ramp-up and development of Intermap’s
two DEM production centres in Jakarta and Bangkok

• Continually developed and improved staff performance using
production and quality metrics

Budgeted and purchased IT equipment for the production centres
• Ensured the editing of 2.8 million KM2 of elevation data

• Ensured ISO quality management systems and practices were
embedded and followed
• Created the first independent website for the print and
electronic media in West Africa
• Assisted in the coordination of tens of thousands of volunteers
during Manitoba’s Red River flood emergency of 1997
